Trust and security
The information in a Divii file is some of the most personal information there is: your finances, your children, your relationship. Here is how it is protected, in plain language, and who can see it.
How your data is protected
Each of these is a commitment we also make in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, where the full detail lives.
Your content is encrypted while it moves between you and Divii, and while it is stored. Access inside Divii is restricted and controlled.
Payments are processed by Stripe, our payment processor. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never received or stored by Divii.
Divii does not sell your content or your personal information, and will not let any third party use your content to train AI models without your consent.
Divii's primary infrastructure, where your content is stored, is located in Canada. A small number of operational service providers process limited data in the United States, and each is named in our Privacy Policy.
Your documents are yours to download at any time. After you close your account, your content stays retrievable for one year, and is then securely destroyed. The exact timelines are set out in our Terms of Use.
A fair question for any new legal tool: who is making sure this is done right? Divii participates in the Law Society of British Columbia's Innovation Sandbox, serving the public under the oversight of the body that regulates BC lawyers. Divii is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice.
